| Gold Mine Development Company (GMDC) takes its name from Dr. Stanko's first book, Life is a Gold Mine: Can You Dig It? GMDC's stated purpose is to help develop the gold in every individual. In 1985, Dr. Stanko began conducting seminars to help people become more productive and focused. The Life is a Gold Mine seminar led to the book, and now Gold Mine Development Co. houses the worldwide efforts and resources of Dr. Stanko to continue to assist people as they search for purpose and meaning. His work has allowed him to assist companies and ministries become more focused as well.
