There is one tool that has had a major impact on my life and leadership and that is the DISC profile. The DISC is an acronym for the four basic styles that the profile identifies: dominant, inspirational, steady and compliant. I have used this simple personality profile effectively to help people all over the world do four things:
Understand their work behavioral tendencies and develop a beginning understanding of how these styles may affect others.
Understand, respect, appreciate and value individual differences.
Develop strategies for working together in teams to increase productivity.
Enhance their effectiveness in accomplishing tasks by improving their relationships with others.
