April 9, Your Creativity

Today’s reading: Psalms 41-45

“My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer” - Psalm 45:1.

Many people don’t write or create more often because they cannot picture themselves sitting at a computer, writing for hours at a time. Yet today’s verse sets them free to recite rather than write their stories and lessons. Paul wrote most of his letters by dictating them to someone else, only signing off in his own handwriting at the end. Luke interviewed others and compiled his gospel from their accounts. Are you among those who are fearful or hesitant to express your creative insights and ideas? Then fear no more. Find someone to whom you can dictate your concepts and ideas, and let your creativity flow! After a few hours, you will see something begin to take shape that can turn into a book project. What steps can you take to move your ideas from your heart to the place where people can enjoy and learn from them?
