Your Daily Psalm May 9: 'Depression'
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” (Psalm 42:5).
The psalmist chose to confront his depression head on, reminding himself of his relationship with God and its power to lift him from gloom.
