The Bread of the Presence and Purpose

It has been my privilege to talk and write about the topic of life purpose for the last eleven years.  I have traveled to many places and have seen many people come to an understanding of who they are and who they are not.  I have seen countless people set free from the futile efforts to be something or someone they are not.

As I have researched the topic of purpose, I have found many books on the subject.  But many of those writing have not used the Bible in their work and have even come from Zen Buddhism.  The lack of biblical perspective has disturbed me and has caused others at times to question just how biblical the issue of purpose is.

Biblical Prayers You Can Use In Your Devotional Life For Yourself Or For Others

The Bible is an inspired book, so that means God inspired the prayers in the Bible as well.  So pray the prayers listed below and insert the names of those for whom you are praying, or maybe even insert your own name! 

For example: And this is my prayer for (him, her, them or me): that (their, his, her or my) love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that (they, he, she or I) may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ-- to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11).
